This functional standing light is a unique creation made from discarded old books, with their pages meticulously crafted into honeycomb shapes. Drawing inspiration from the natural hexagonal structures built by bees, the design celebrates both nature’s ingenuity and the art of repurposing. The idea was sparked during a visit to a friend’s bee farm, where the beauty of the honeycomb pattern resonated deeply. By combining the charm of recycled books with the elegance of nature-inspired design, this lampshade brings together functionality, sustainability, and creativity into different design pieces.
