“Heart” draws inspiration from the traditional embroidery technique known as Kelarai Tampuk Jantung. The Tampuk Jantung, or banana flower, is a large, dark purple-red blossom found at the end of a banana cluster. This artwork sheds light on the past and the present, the transition from something old to something new through the conversion of traditional materials to modern materials. Although the language terminology of the original material has been changed, but it still retains the original identity.
